Found on older uPVC windows and aluminium windows these cockspur window handles are simple latch type handles. The handles close onto an adjacent wedge block to ensure the window closes nice and snugly. The cockspur wedge is generally a standard fit but you can interchange them and use a different size if the step size of your new handle is different. The handle itself is of metal construction supplied with key and cover caps. Measuring your backset These cockspur window handles can be fitted to uPVC windows and aluminium windows. To measure the size of the cockspur you require you simply measure from the back of the handle to the spur.
